On the mat

Looking for a Pilates mat class in Denmark WA?

You’ve found it.

Forget what you’ve heard

Maybe you’ve heard Pilates is only for dancers. That it’s silent drudgery. It’s only for young women. That it’s only suitable for certain body types.

In fact, peer-reviewed studies confirm that Pilates can be helpful (and enjoyable!) for people of all ages — even YOU. And the benefits can be staggering, including improvement in:

  • Flexibility

  • Muscle strength

  • Range of motion

  • Quality of life

Pilates is one of the best ways to boost your strength, flexibility, coordination, and balance. Private sessions in my home studio will give you the skills, support, accountability, and connection you need to reach your movement goals.

Pilates 101

Learn your way around the mat and discover everything there is to love about Pilates. Created by Joe Pilates himself, it’s a series of exercises to stretch, strengthen, and balance your body.

My mat classes are a fun, judgement-free way to grab a workout and a laugh — and I wouldn’t have it any other way.

Is Pilates for you?

Pilates is suitable for any fitness level, with endless tweaks for when you’re ready for a challenge. With a range of modifications, it’s perfect for any fitness level.

I’m Clare.

I love teaching movement. It’s the best way to improve your strength, control, and confidence. But most importantly, movement is fun.

Pilates forms the framework for my movement practice, which is based on three key questions:

  • What’s your body doing now?

  • What can your body parts do?

  • How can it help you do the things you love?

I hold a Diploma of Matwork Pilates as well as Reformer Pilates teaching. As an Instructor and Functional Range Mobility specialist, I’m here to help you reach your goals — and have a good time doing it.

The bottom line

Pilates can serve up stacks of body benefits:

  • Build strength

As well as increasing your muscle mass, it can support strong bones, good balance, fluid mobility.

  • Stretch it out

Increased flexibility means you can do the things you love without worrying about getting injured.

  • Get aligned

Give your posture a boost and strengthen the muscles that support good balance.

Big strength. Big confidence. Big fun.

It’s Pilates without the BS.
